Welsh Wildlife Centre (01239 621600) A nature reserve and visitor centre along the River Teifi near Cardigan, showing seven different habitats along a network of self guided nature trails. The home of the Glasshouse Café and has a gift shop.

Sculpture Heaven has been championing Great British Sculpture for the last 15 years. They aim to make sculpture accessible by opening up their workshop, gallery and sculpture garden in Cardigan Bay, West Wales to the public from April til end October each year.
Llanerchaeron (01545 570200) Owned by the National Trust this is an 18th century Welsh gentry estate built by John Nash. Has a service courtyard (for the use of the servants) and walled kitchen garden. This is also a working organic farm. There is a gift shop and café on site along with a selection of walks through the surrounding countryside.
Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort (01239 891319) Stepping back in time to see how people lived in the Iron Age. Daily guided tours and gift shop.
National Botanic Garden of Wales (01558 668768) The mission to inspire, educate and conserve. Over 8000 different plant varieties, a range of themed gardens and the worlds largest single spanned greenhouse. Family friendly with plant shop, gift shop and restaurants.
Oakwood Theme Park (01834 891376) Theme park which has five large thrill rides amongst many others. There is a special section of rides for the young and plenty of places for food and drink.
Folly Farm (01834 812731) Especially suited to young children Folly Farm is based around four family entertainment areas: a farmyard, a zoo, an undercover vintage funfair and an adventure play area. A choice of restaurants and large gift shop.
Blue Lagoon Water Park (01834 862 410) Blue Lagoon is not a swimming pool. This ‘waterpark’ features an indoor wave machine, a rapids river ride and two enclosed flume rides that leave the coracle-shaped building and bring you back into the main swimming area at pool level. A great day out in West Wales.
